MICHAEL A. FISHER
Attorney at Law

Mr. Fisher has been one of Orange County’s preeminent divorce and family law attorneys since 1988. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a Certified Family Law Specialist, State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. Since 2005, Mr. Fisher has served as one of eight divorce attorneys in the State on the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization, Family Law Advisory Commission. This Commission recommends standards for Family Law Specialists, writes and grades the bi-annual Family Law Specialization examination, and reviews applications for Specialist Certification. In September 2008 he began a one year term as the Chair of the Commission.

Mr. Fisher has lectured to bar groups on such diverse topics as Trial Evidence, Child Custody Move Away Issues, Fundamentals of Family Law Practice and Parent Alienation.

Mr. Fisher has both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mathematics. This education gives him unique insight into complex financial issues that often arise in Family Law litigation. His practice is referral based with referrals coming from judges, lawyers, professional colleagues and former clients. He and his wife have been married since 1980. They are the proud parents of a daughter who is a hospice social worker.

SHELLEY A. RICH
Attorney at Law

Now an experienced divorce lawyer on our staff, Ms. Rich graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Women’s Studies. She received a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from California Western School of Law in 2005. Ms. Rich also took courses at The College of Law of England and Wales in London, England in the summer of 2003. Ms. Rich was admitted to the California Bar in 2005.

In 2004 Ms. Rich was a Judicial Extern to Justice Alex McDonald, California Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District, Division One. She was an associate attorney for Blatchley & Blatchley in San Diego from 2005-2006. She joined Fisher & Rich, Attorneys at Law as a divorce attorney in September 2006.

Ms. Rich has participated in extensive volunteer work. She was a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) with Voices for Children from 2003-2006. She currently volunteers with Make-A-Wish Foundation. Ms. Rich is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, Family Law Section.

BEVERLY ACHKINAZI
Paralegal

Ms. Achkinazi obtained an Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration and a Paralegal Certificate from Cerritos College, an American Bar Association accredited school, in 1994. She has worked as a paralegal in Los Angeles County and Orange County since 1994. Ms. Achkinazi has been with Fisher & Rich, Attorneys at Law since 1998.

TRACY AGNES
Paralegal

Ms. Agnes has worked exclusively in the field of Family Law since 1992. She obtained a Paralegal Certificate in 1994 from California Southern Law School. Ms. Agnes has gained extensive experience in Riverside County and Orange County since 1992. She joined Fisher & Rich, Attorneys at Law in 2006.
